AGENCY TESTS & PORTFOLIOS Your first and most obvious point of call is exposure. As a model, you are a product. Any product must be marketed in order be successful as a product. How many people are seeing your true potential? We offer the facilities of a professional daylight studio for our clients where portfolios are generated on CD for marketing purposes. We ensure that all pictures are taken to the required high industry standards, providing strict attention to detail and brief. We also offer an editing and retouching service to ensure that all blemishes and marks are removed. In addition to the studio, a professional make up artist is available if required, so there is no need to stress. For first time models with no experience, we will advise and discuss your look and feel, as well as conceptualize the required look and references most suited for your book. We also focus on assisting models in updating their books, prior to season or prior to tests and castings. If you want to be a glamour model, we are also here to assist you. Glamour modeling has much less strict requirements than other forms of modeling such as fashion or catwalk. There is a great deal of glamour model work for all shapes and sizes, so don't despair if you think you are too short, your bust isn't big enough, or even that you don't have the right look. I've worked with many glamour models in the business, and the common factor is that they all work exceptionally well with the camera to get their personality to shine through rather than any specific physical attributes. You must be 18 or over for glamour modeling. To protect us we will need to see your ID before the shoot, as it is illegal to take glamour photos of models under the age of 18.

BOUDOIR - FOR HIS EYES ONLY... Boudoir pictures are all the rage nowadays, definitely gaining popularity among to-be brides as a sexy new trend for a wedding day gift from a bride to her groom. Known as intimate photos probably the best gift you can give to your groom. The word "boudoir" can be translated to mean "a woman's private dressing room, sitting room or bedroom." These photos are sexy photos of you, taken professionally. They're not necessarily nude photos. The illusion of being nude is more often provocative than actually seeing someone naked. Boudoir photos are usually taken wearing either very little, or, nothing at all. They're hardly X-rated though, but rather PG-13, referred to as implied nudes. The most important thing is to choose outfits that make you feel sexy, anything that your partner would like to see you in to accentuate your best features. You can bring something white, something black, and something in a bright color so you can mix and match and a corset and lingerie that will create sexy curves. People often use their own bedroom to shoot in, rent a posh hotel room, a borrowed home, or wake up early to shoot on the beach or shoot in studio. PHOTOGRAPHIC COURSE Part time photographic course for people interested in photography as a hobby or a career. Firstly, I advise all students not to go out and buy any cameras or lenses before attending the course. You will initially will need to grasp the area in which you wish to focus on, and that will help determine as to what you will require. A professional camera is supplied for those without the necessary equipment to practice on during the practical modules. Dates and times of Course: Courses run monthly, normally on Saturdays or on a one 2 one basis during the week, which ever is more convenient. Lessons run for a period of 3 - 4 hours per session (small amount of theory with majority of focus on practical and hands on) Venue: DLphoto Studio, 60 Barnet Street, Gardens, Cape Town (next to Dunkley Square). Commitment: Classes are kept small, so as to offer personalized attention to satisfy your needs with a hands on assistance approach. Duration of the course is 4 weeks.
